Edo Constitutes Implementation C’ttee on Property Protection

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has constituted the Edo State Private Property Protection Law 2021 Implementation Committee, with Hon. Justice Alero Edodo-Eruaga (Rtd) as Chairman.

In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie, said that the constitution of the committee is in line with section 4 (1) of the Edo State private property protection law 2021.

According to him: “The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has, in line with section 4 (1) of the Edo State Private Property Protection Law 2021, appointed the under-listed persons into the Edo State Private Property Protection Law Implementation Committee.”

The appointees are: Hon. Justice Alero Edodo-Eruaga (Rtd), as Chairman; Mr. J. O. Uhunamure, Member; Mr. Nosa Edo-Osagie Esq., Member; Dr. Olufemi Ayewoh, Member; Gen. Friday Airende (Rtd), Member; Mr. A. Agbonlahor AIG (Rtd), Member, and Chief Osaro Idah, Member.

According to him, the Chief State Counsel, Ministry of Justice, Barr. Oshirekun Otokunrin, is to serve as the Committee’s Secretary.

Ogie, stated that the committee will be inaugurated by the Governor at a date to be announced later.
