By Hillary Asemota

In what appeared as record shattering in political appointment even as it is coming less than a month (November 10th), after the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, approved the appointment of 72 Advisers across 51 Wards in 5 Local LGAs, which comprised of 21 Senior Special Advisers (SSAs) and 51 Special Assistants (SAs), the Governor has again in another swoop, swelled his albeit kitchen cabinet with 134 appointees as Special Advisers, made up of 38 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 96 Special Assistants (SAs).

On the Justification for the appointments, Obaseki, said it is predicated following the harmonization of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by the leaders of the party across Edo State.

“Governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the appointments of 38 Senior Special Assistants and 96 Special Assistants.” The Secretary to the Edo State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie, in a statement on Thursday, announced the appointments.
