SGF Congratulates Mustapha over CNN Award

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha on Monday congratulated Nigeria’s Zannah Mustapha, who emerged as one of the winners of the 2021 CNN Heroes Award top ten. 

He described Zannah Mustapha as a lawyer, educationist per excellence, Philanthropist of immense proportion and an unparalleled humanitarian of the century whose contributions to the educationally disadvantaged has resonated all over the world.

The SGF commended Mustapha for lifting the image of Nigeria in the international media through positive contributions in making education available to the vulnerable, particularly, those orphaned by insurgency in the North-east geopolitical zone of the country.

He noted that Mustapha’s example is worthy of emulation by Nigerians in view of the need to tackle and reduce the number of out-of- school children in the country. 

Zannah Mustapha is the Proprietor of the Future Prowess Islamic Foundation in Maiduguri, Borno State, has since its establishment used the school to cater for the educational needs of those in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) camps and others ravaged by insurgency.
