NNPC Allays Fears of Fuel Scarcity

By Mohammed Mohammed

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) Ltd, has moved swiftly to allayed the fears of motorists occasioned by the sudden mounting queues on Monday and Tuesday in petrol stations across the country.

There have been palpable fears that the federal government might upwardly review the pump price of PMS in the first quarter of 2022, from N162 per litre to about N340 per litre.

However, the authorities had consistently denied any envisaged increase in fuel pump price.

“In line with the existing laws of the land, NNPC Ltd, is deeply committed to ensuring energy security for the country.”
