Delta 2023: Omo-Agege Storms Asaba for APC Guber Primaries

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has landed in Asaba ahead of the Delta State governorship primaries of All Progressives Congress (APC) on today (Thursday).

Senator Omo-Agege is a leading contender for the governorship of Delta State, his Campaign Director of Organisation, Mr. Ima Niboro, stated in a statement made available to the media on Wednesday.

The governorship primary which holds at Federal Technical College, Asaba will witness the gathering of elected delegates who will elect the party’s standard bearer in the 2023 gubernatorial polls.

The aircraft conveying the Delta Central lawmaker landed at Asaba Airport around 6:30pm, Wednesday, yesterday.

Niboro, said on his entourage were his Chief of Staff, Dr Otive Igbuzor, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, himself and other party chieftains.

Officials of the party at the national level are already in the state capital for the conduct of the exercise, the statement added.

“Omo-Agege’s governorship aspiration is focused on building a new Delta premised on “Employment and Empowerment, Development, Good Governance and Enduring peace and security (EDGE).” He said.
