Progressive Nation Initiative Tasks Nigerians on Polls, Commends Security Personnel, Health Workers

A Non Governmental Organization and Patriotic Spirited Body: The Progressive Nation Initiative (PNI), has tasked Nigerians especially the electorate to patriotically discharged their civil responsibility without fear or favour in the forth coming February elections.

In a statement made available to EXTRAORDINAIRE, in Abuja, the group, said: “We truly hope and believe that 2023 will usher in a renewed hope to our country, something better than the previous years.

“Let us resolve to rededicate ourselves to the unity, integrity and inclusive development of the nation.

“Our gratitude to all our leaders, those that are serving with their best, dedication, hard work, selflessness, professionalism and sincere affections.”

Pastor Omolayo Olarewaju and Comrade Nurudeen Mustapha, who signed the release commended Nigerian armed forces, police and other security agencies, in defense, security and sovereignty of the nation, as well as the country’s medical personnel and healthcare professionals.

“Lastly, this new year is another election cycle and in no distance time. Those that are yet to collect their PVC should go and collect it.

“Nigerians should remember that violence will only mar the process and as such, we all have a big role to play in ensuring a peaceful, free, fair and credible elections. We enjoined our citizens to vote not fight.” They added.
