Interior Ministry Dismisses Order on Issuance of Endurance, Survival Certificate as Fake

The Ministry of Interior on Thursday said it’s attention has been drawn to a fake news asking Nigerian Youths to obtain a non-existent Certificate of Endurance and Survival from their various local governments.

The fake dated15th May, 2023, was purportedly signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr Shuaib Belgore.

The fake announcement portends that it is in line with the decision of the Federal Executive Council.

It added that the certificate will serve as our sincere honor for their endurance and patriotic citizenship during the eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration.

The Ministry enjoined Nigerians to disregard the news and information as false, adding that it is wicked and mischievous news from unscrupulous individuals.

The fake  never originated from the Ministry, the statement added.

The Ministry totally refutes and distances itself from the fake news.
