NNAJI APPROVES APPOINTMENT OF KWAYA AS OVERSEEING DIRECTOR OF RMRDC

The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji has approved the appointment of Engr. Emmanuel Kwaya as the overseeing Director -General of Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) pending the appointment of a substantive Director-General for the Agency.

The appointment, the Minister said  takes effect from 8th April, 2024 and called on the overseeing Chief Executive officer to be dedicated and committed to his duty.

He further urged the staff to be loyal and support the new leadership to achieve the desired goal of the agency.

The Minister stated that the appointment is in line with the request by the outgoing Director -General, Prof. H. D Ibrahim whose second term tenure ended on 7th  April, 2024, to handover to the most senior Director of the agency, Engr. Emmanuel Kwaya.

To this end, Nnaji commended the outgoing Director-General, Prof. H.D Ibrahim for his giant strides in the Agency, Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science  and Technology, (IST) sector and Nigeria in general.
