The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), on Friday said the Commission has in the meantime and temporarily suspending the issuance of new licences for its Interconnect Exchange Licence, Mobile Virtual Network Operator Licence and Value Added Service Aggregator Licence.

According to the Commission’s Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Reuben Muoka, said the temporary suspension of the three (3) categories of the communications licences has become necessary to enable the Commission conduct a thorough review of critical key areas within these categories.
