The Stanley Jegede Foundation (SJF), has announced its partnership with an NGO: Adopt A School Initiative (ADASI) to drive sustainable Education Development Programs (EDPs) in Osun State as part of its last quarter (2024) interventions and advocacy this time targeting the underprivileged and vulnerable in South-west.
SJF, is a non-governmental organization with a mission to make good quality of life accessible to Africa’s less privileged, particularly children and youths, towards the achievement of their life or career goals.
In a statement made available to the media by the Foundation’s media department on Tuesday, said: “Its activities are focus on high impact, well-rounded education, health, welfare, emergency relief, art heritage, and group support initiatives
“SJF is committed to equipping its beneficiaries with the tools they need to succeed in the future, leveraging resourceful frameworks and technological innovation to achieve its vision.
Recall that the Foundation’s first to third quarters engagements were tailored to the North-west, North-central, South-south and South-east through project initiatives that revolved around high-impact education, health, welfare, and emergency relief.
The current collaboration between SJF and ADASI is the renovation and rehabilitation of schools and the provision of essential educational materials which align with SJF’s mission of making quality education accessible to Africa’s disadvantaged populations and empowering children and youth to fulfil their positive aspirations.
SJF, identified and decided to partner with ADASI because the foundation also has a legacy of enhancing educational opportunities through sustainable and collaborative efforts-with the mission to foster high-quality education in the South-West, and to expand its efforts nationwide and across Africa which complements SJF’s vision of equipping its Educational Development Program (EDP) beneficiaries for a promising future.
Speaking on the collaboration, the executive chairman of the Stanley Jegede Foundation, Mr. Stanley Jegede, said: “At SJF, we believe that a robust education infrastructure is pivotal for unlocking the potential of Africa’s children …our partnership with ADASI reinforces our unwavering commitment to fostering multi-resource learning environments where students can thrive academically and behaviourally.
“Together, we aim to redefine the educational experience for disadvantaged children across communities.”
This initiative premises the importance of creating safe, conducive learning environments and equipping schools with the tools needed to deliver effective education. By addressing gaps in infrastructure and resources, SJF is paving the way for a brighter future for students, one school at a time.”
Through this partnership, the Foundation reaffirms its dedication to working with similar vision-sharing non-profits and non-governmental organizations to bridge educational disparities and inspire a generation of lifelong learners in Nigeria and on the African continent.
