The Director, Information and Public Relations at the Ministry, Mr. Mohammed Manga, in a statement, said the initiative aims to boost agricultural output through timely input delivery, efficient post-harvest handling, and improved market access—ensuring both food security and rural prosperity.

The collaboration forms part of ongoing implementation efforts related to JICA’s Food Security Emergency Support funding—valued at ¥12 billion—which is targeted at strengthening sustainable food systems and enhancing resilience in the face of global supply shocks.
