IN RE-NEWED VIGOUR AGAINST INSECURITY/BANDITRY: GAIDAM EXPRESSES POLICE COMBAT READINESS/INSPECTS 7 ARMOURED VEHICLES

In Federal Government’s renewed strategy and vigour to address all forms of insecurity and bandity, the Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has inspected seven Modified Light Tactical Vehicles procured for the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

This, Senator Gaidam, said will enhance and strengthen their operations in securing life and property in the country.

He inspected the Modified Light Tactical Vehicles along with the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Anuma Ogbonaya Nlia, and top Management of the Ministry at the Federal Secretariat, Phase III, in Abuja.

The Deputy Director (Information and Public Relations Unit, Mr. Bolaji Oladimeji Kazeem, quoted the Minister on Tuesday, 21, May 2025 as saying that the 7 Modified Light Tactical Armoured Vehicles were acquired from the budgetary allocation of the Ministry, and they would be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to enhance their security operations to enable them to perform better.

He acknowledged that they are supposed to use it professionally to combat insecurity in the country,” He stressed.
