President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolences to the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Babangida Nguroje over the death of two of his sisters, Zainab and Hajiya Hadiza with her husband Mr. Nuhu Hamman’Gabdo and their four kids, who all perished in a road accident.
Mallam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media, in a statement quoted the President said: “I am lost for words to describe such multiple deaths in a singYle car accident in which family members perished.”
“I received the news of this tragedy with deep shock and grief, and wish to express my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with you at this trying and painful moment,” President Buhari added.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the gentle souls of the deceased persons and comfort those they have left behind.
The devastating accident threw the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) into mourning and shock on the sad news of the death of their staff, Mr. Nuhu Hamman’ Gabdo.
The Commission’s Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, expressed shock and deepest grief over the loss of Hamman’Gabdo in the road accident.
Hamman ’Gabdo, died alongside his wife, four children, his niece and driver in an accident that occurred on weekend along Nasarawa-Abuja Expressway while the deceased and his family were returning from his country home, Serti in Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Until his death, Hamman ’Gabdo was a Principal Manager in the Human Capital and Administration Department of the Commission.
The entire Board, Management and staff of NCC express their deepest grief over the incident and commiserate with the entire family, relatives and friends of the deceased.
We pray that the Almighty grant the deceased eternal peace in His bosom and that the entire NCC and the deceased family find the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
