Aero Contractors, Uzam Aviation Services in Sky-high Partnership, to Commence Operation Soon

The Management of Aero Contractors has expressed optimism that it will resume commercial services for a more strategic sky-high and efficient service delivery in the sector.

This is coming following the conclusion of an exciting partnership deal with Uzam Aviation Services, which will be driven under a joint agreement between both parties.

While underscoring the partnership, Aero Contractors added that the synergy will mark another turning point in Nigeria’s aviation with the acquisition of more fleet from Uzam Aviation Services even as its Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, acknowledged the strategic steps taken by Aero Contractors to commence operations.

Extraordinaire online, however gathered that over $50 million is said to be invested in the purchase of five aircraft that will be operated by Aero contractors.

With the development, Aero Contractors will have nine aircraft to resume its commercial operation.

In a recent chat with newsmen in Abuja, over the development in the sector, after taking delivery of the second Dash-8 (Q-400) aircraft, the Managing Director of Aero Contractors, Capt. Abdullahi Mahmoud acknowledged the readiness of the airline to resume flight operations.

The MD, said: “Commercial-wise, we are looking at resuming operations soon with all processing procedures in place for that purpose.”

The 75-seater aircraft, is known to be one of the safest aircraft because you hardly hear of crashes, it has short landing and short takeoff, so it is very good even during emergencies. Nigerians should expect efficient, prompt and reliable service, Aero boss added.

Explaining further, he said: “So, with this, we hope to meet aviation demand in terms of passengers and also cost because we have noticed that cost is a concern for a lot of travelling passengers.
