GIFTAC FOUNDATION, ULESSON PARTNER TO FOSTER DIGITAL EDUCATION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Founder of GIFTAC Foundation, Gift Enwere, has said the NGO initiated its digital literacy programme to expose secondary school students to advanced and improve their learning skills using digital tools. 

In a statement made available to the media after the catch them young training session as part of the Foundation’s CSR initiative, she acknowledged that the event was successfully organized in partnership with ULesson, offering a digital learning platform with a Nigerian and British curriculum to the students.

During the facilitation, free subscriptions and access to internet were provided for JSS3 students to help them prepare for their BECE exams.

Enwere, expressed appreciation to the CEO of Ulesson, AyoOluwa Nihinlola, for the partnership as the GIFTAC Digital literacy program was impactful as it exposed the students to several engaging learning experiences while improving their academic performance and their digital skills. 

In a remark, the Administrator of GIFTAC Foundation, Chinaza Enwere, stated that it is a priority for the organization to tackle educational challenges faced by students especially as the world keeps evolving.

Thus, it is important to embrace technological advancement and innovations in the educational system, she added.

During the school visit, the Programs Manager, Dinma Okoh, thanked the school authorities for welcoming the initiative as he believes that through the collaboration, quality education is attainable for all.

Concluding, founder of the foundation, reinstated that the adoption of digital transformation into the educational sector should include initiatives accommodating the underprivileged and marginalized if there must be the realization of quality education for all as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4).
