NACETEM: Ukwuoma Hands Over Leadership Baton to Omimakinde

The outgoing Director General, (DG)/Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), Prof. Okechukwu Ukwuoma, on Wednesday handed over the baton of leadership to Dr. John Akintayo Ommakinde, who is the most senior Director at the agency.

This is coming following directives from the Governing Board of the agency pending the appointment of a substantive Director-General/Chief Executive Officer for the agency. Ukwuoma’s 8 year came to an end on Thursday.

The outgoing DG whose tenure officially ends on 21 appreciated the management and staff for their support throughout his reign as the head of the agency.

The DG had earlier met with the members of staff at the Headquarters at the agency’s 500-seater auditorium on Tuesday, 19th.

Remembrance

At the meeting, he acknowledged that NACETEM had made him a better person as he learned so much from all and sundry in his eight years of stewardship at the agency.

Omimakinde, in a remark solicited for the cooperation of all to move the agency a top-notch higher than where it is until such a time a substantive DG will be appointed.
