Achuba’s statement reads: “On behalf of my family, I write to commiserate with you over the death of your Son, father and Grandfather, Dr. Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land.

“While we feel pained by the death of HRM Dr Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim, we submit to the will of God Almighty and take solace in the fact that the late paramount ruler lived a life worthy of emulation. He would be remembered for his good deeds on earth.

“In fact, the Ohinoyi was known for his truth and straightforwardness as a royal father, and would be missed especially now that the state is translating from one administration to another.

“We urge the royal family to be consoled by the achievements of the royal father while on the throne of his father as the chairman of traditional council in the area.

“No doubt, this is a trying moment for the family but the fact remains that, the traditional leader’s journey on earth was an accomplished one as he passed on at the age of 95.

“We pray for the children to keep the legacies of their father and respect the traditional stool as their father did before he joined his creator.

“As one family bounded in fraternal love, we share in your grief and pray God of all comforts, who comforts us in all our tribulations to grant the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
