Pensioners: PTAD Boss Pledges to Consolidate on Past Achievements, Hosts Universities Union

The Executive Secretary (ES): Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Dr. Chioma Ejikeme, on Wednesday received in audience the Executive Secretary of Federal Universities Pensioners Association (FUPA) in her office in Abuja.

The members led by Chief Edwin Enyokwa, expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his foresight for reappointing the ES for a second term in office, noting that Dr. Ejikeme, has no doubt done creditably well for pensioners to deserve the second term as ES.

In her welcome remark, Dr. Ejikeme, appreciated the Union Executives for the visit, love, prayers, and cooperation and continued support during her first tenure.

She expressed her determination and commitment to consolidating on the successes and achievements recorded in her first term.

Remembrance

On concerns expressed by the association, she promised that  issues bordering on harmonization, health insurance, pension adjustment, payment of arrears, and payments to next of kin of deceased pensioners will take center stage.

Enyokwa, encouraged the ES to continue with her disposition to matters affecting the welfare of pensioners, including payment of the approved palliative.

The meeting had in attendance other executive members of FUPA from the six geopolitical zones and PTAD’s management team.
