The Chief of Staff to Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Barr. Mrs. Mina Tamuno-Williams Agnons has promised to continue identifying with the Ijaw Women’s Congress (IWC) and supporting the development of the Niger Delta region.

The promise was made during her 51st birthday celebration in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where IWC members gathered to honor her. Led by Chapter President Mrs. Fyne Ibifaka Uzoukwu, the women presented her with a birthday gift and prayers, accompanied by the traditional “Asawana” anthem.
As a seasoned administrator and lawyer, Mrs. Tamuno-Williams’ commitment to her community is rooted in her experience as former Clerk of the House of Representatives Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Her dedication to public service and social responsibility reflects her passion for empowering women and promoting regional development.
Mrs. Tamuno-Williams’ pledge underscores her connection to the Ijaw community and her desire to continue supporting their cause. The IWC’s celebration highlights the importance of community ties and cultural heritage.
