200 Kidnapped Kids: Buhari Furious, Charges Security to Expedite Action on Release

There is no doubt that President Muhammadu Buhari is furious.

Smarting from just few days when he joined million Nigerian children to celebrate their day on May 27, he has tasked the security agencies to expedite action on the release of the 200 kids held in the den of kidnappers and bandits in Niger State.

The President’s Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, in a statement made available to the said:

“The President has charged the nation’s security and intelligence agencies to expedite efforts towards the recovery of the 200 children kidnapped from an Islamic school in Niger State.

“The President, who received briefing on the latest incident of school kidnapping, condemned as unfortunate, the kidnapping of children from schools and urged all the agencies involved in the rescue operation to do their utmost in securing their immediate release.

“He also directed that the concerned government agencies to extend possible support to the families of the kidnapped children.”
