Cocaine: NDLEA Nabs Uber Driver, Two Others at Lagos Airport

An uber driver, identified as Mr. Lawal Rasheed and two others have been arrested in Lagos for possessing cocaine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

The spokesman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mr. Femi Babafemi, in a statement, said the driver and the two suspects were arrested at the SAHCO export shed of the airport last week Tuesday.

The driver was identified as Lawal Rasheed, while the identity of one of the two was known as Egbo Maduka.

The 150 gramme consignment was meant for export to Malabo in Equitoral Guinea.

The items were said to have been concealed in air freshener and hair attachment.

Similarly, the statement added that another suspect, Udogwu Johnson, was arrested on Friday, at the D-Arrival Hall of the MMIA Lagos with wraps of cocaine which weighed 300 grammes. The drug was hidden in his underwear.
