The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated the President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Dr. Dele Oye, who is an ex-student of the prestigious EGHOSA ANG. GRAMMAR SCHOOL, Benin City, on his birthday.

The Governor and Oye attended the same school in Benin City, graduating at different times in the early 70s and 80s. Oye, stepped further from EGHOSA ANG. GRAMMAR SCHOOL to the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University for his law degree, before his other educational pedigree which evidently honed and prepared him for future engagements across sectors of the economy.

The governor acknowledged that it has become compelling to celebrate Oye’s unmatched commitment to facilitating the expansion of the Nigerian economy through local and international trade alignments and connections and collaborations.

Speaking further on the exploit of one EGHOSA OLD BOYS who has been setting unparalleled footprints, Obaseki, reiterated that Oye, has shown uncommon commitment to the growth of the Nigerian economy through constructive advocacy and policy recommendations for sustainable development.

“I heartily congratulate you as you add another year today. You have over the years contributed to the development of the Nigerian economy through far-reaching efforts to boost investment in critical sectors of the Nigerian economy.” The Governor, said.

“Since emerging as the President of NACCIMA, you have repositioned the organisation as one of the most consequential bodies pushing for the expansion of the private sector, with incisive recommendations on strategies to be employed by policymakers.

“From promoting local initiatives to protect local businesses to facilitating international exhibitions and tours, you have positioned NACIMMA as Nigeria’s foremost investment promotion vehicle. These efforts are worthy of commendation.

“I celebrate you today and pray that God grants you many more years of impactful service to our dear country.” Obaseki, said,
