New NIGCOMSAT Boss Pledges to Drive System with 2-Decades of Satellite Experience

The new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited, Mrs. Nkechi Jane Egerton-Idehen, has arrived at the Corporate Headquarters of the Company, along Umaru Musa Yar’adua Way, Lugbe Abuja pledging to drive the organization with the foresight of 2 decades of experience in the satellite sector.

Upon her arrival, Mrs. Egerton-Idehen met with the Executive Management and also held a Town Hall meeting with the general staff of the company.

The NIGCOMSAT boss, who expressed appreciation for her appointment as the new Managing Director of the Company, urged the staff to lend their support and cooperation whilst she employs her over two decades of experience in the satellite industry for the good of the Company. 

She also expressed gladness upon the enthusiasm with which the staff received her upon her arrival, and pledged to create an enabling environment for all to work, devoid of any encumbrances.

Remembrance

While welcoming her, the Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development, Dr Najeem Salaam, congratulated the new MD/CEO, Mrs. Nkechi Jane Egerton-Idehen for what he described as a well-deserved appointment and urged her to see her arrival at NIGCOMSAT Ltd as homecoming. 

Also contributing, the Executive Director, Technical Services, Prof. Abdu Jaafar Bambale, thanked the new Managing Director for making time to address the staff on the first day of assumption of office.
